So as we reach the end of the 19th day of self (now enforced!) isolation, and social distancing has become "a thing", I feel it is time to reflect on the events so far.
This virus aint going away, so we either learn to live/die with it or we do what is necessary and that is quarantine ourselves. The medics are stretched to the limit, the police are trying to control us and there are still those who want to fight it - I ask why!?
My personal feeling is that all those workers in shops, pharamacies and banks, who are putting themselves at risk are now on the list of heroes - thank you. But those are only the ones we can see, what about the farmers, the bakers operating the bread ovens, the delivery people, they deserve some serious credit too.
You wont find me moaning about this situation, you will hear no words of dissent, just admiration for those who ARE trying to do something to make this bearable.
We all hope that our loved ones around the globe remain safe and I hope that the light at the end of the tunnel slowly grows larger as we proceed along this precarious path.
Good luck to you
